Vance Smith is a fifth-generation farmer in West Texas growing cotton together with his wife Mandie Smith for over 17 years. To ensure their cotton is grown sustainably, they use sub-surface drip irrigation, reduced tillage, cover crops, and crop rotation.
In 2013, the Smiths attained a record-breaking yield of 6.9 bales per acre*, a testament to their sustained implementation of SurgePro® as their preferred foliar fertilizer for the past 19 years. Two years later, in 2015, the Smiths exceeded their prior achievement, setting a new record with a remarkable yield of 7.7 bales per acre*.
